Please note: Collections could change during Christmas and New Year. To have updates sent to you via email, sign up to our Ipswich Direct mailing list. Brown bins will not be collected for two weeks over Christmas.
Where to put your bin
Please make sure that your bin is out and ready for collection on the right day and in the right place. Please:
- On collection day, put your bin at the boundary of your home, near to the road;
- If you live in a terraced house, bring the bin to the front of your property, near to the road;
- Place the bin with the handles facing the road;
- Make sure your bin is out by 06:00, as collection times may vary;
- Take the bin off the street after collection to avoid obstructing the footpath.
